Job Summary:
The Back-Office Operations (Import) role is responsible for supporting all import-related activities from documentation to shipment coordination. This includes preparing import documentation, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and maintaining accurate records. The role ensures the smooth and efficient handling of import shipments while liaising with internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and verify all import documents (bill of landing, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.) according to client and destination port requirements.
Coordinate with Customer Service to ensure timely and compliant shipment of goods.
Monitor shipment schedules and update internal systems with tracking and status reports.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including Incoterms, imports controls, and customer-specific requirements.
Maintain organized records of all import transactions and documentation.
Assist in preparing reports related to import shipments.
Requirements:
Familiarity with platforms, Emails, and Microsoft apps (e.g., Office, Excel).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and coordination abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
